I get this question a lot: “how can I lose a few inches around the waist?” And answer invariably “focus.” I then proceed to provide a fast 10 min routine to be performed every other day, and send them on their way. Will it help? certainly. Consistency will help strengthen that located area from the inside out. Will it show? Yes! Some thightening will occur. Will it be enough? NO! Why? A muscle does not own the fat that surrounds it. To lose fat anywhere on your body you need to burn calories by following a program that involves both cardiovascular training and weight training and a diet adequate to fuel effort and recovery.
So? Put yourself to work, that 6 pack won’t build itself!
